Sesame Noodles

These noodles are ridiculous. You will literally wonder why you have never eaten noodles this way before, and weep. They are also a total breeze to make, and go with about everything you can think of. Brilliantly, they can be eaten on their own as some kind of delicious dinnertime treat.

None of the ingredients should be hard to find, my local Asda had them all, and I use them regularly.

Dream noodles.

Adapted from a Pioneer woman recipe

Serves 2-3

Ingredients

  • 150g noodles
  • 2tbsp soy suace
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • ½ tsp chilli powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tbsp sesame seeds

Method

Cook the noodles in boiling water as per package instructions. Drain.

Whisk all the ingredients bar the sesame seeds in a small bowl

Pour over the drained and still warm noodles and toss to coat roughly.

Add in the sesame seeds, reserving a tsp to serve.

Serve up and sprinkle with remaining sesame seeds.

Yes, there is some rice on my plate too, shut up, I have a 'side dish' problem.
