Marbled Oreo Fudge

I think it's close enough to the festive season that I can get fudge recipes going. For me, fudge feels very Christmassy.

However, you never need to go without fudge again (at any time of year!), because making this recipe is super simple and makes a fudgy, creamy, sweet slab of deliciousness.

There are two ways to melt the mixture together, and I did both in this recipe. You can melt everything together gently in a saucepan over a low heat. Or you can do the same thing with a bowl and microwave, microwaving in 30 second increments until everything is smooth and melted together. Both are easy, I did the darker chocolate one in a saucepan because there was more of it, and the white chocolate one in a bowl. This also meant that I was able to do both at once which reduced the time between making it and getting it in my mouth.

Ingredients
  • 200g milk chocolate
  • 100g dark chocolate
  • 100g white chocolate
  • A 397g tin condensed milk
  • 4 tbsp mini marshmallows
  • 1 packet of oreo cookies, crushed

Method

Okay, this is SO EASY. You want two separate chocolate mixtures.

In a saucepan, gently melt together the milk chocolate, dark chocolate, ¾ of the can of condensed milk and 3 tbsp mini marshmallows.

Stir regularly until everything is melted and smooth.

In another saucepan mix together the white chocolate, last ¼ of the condensed milk and last tbsp. of mini marshmallows. Again, stir regularly until melted together and smooth.

Grease and line a square brownie pan.

Crush the oreos and scatter a few on the base of the pan.

Stir most of the rest of the oreo into the darker chocolate mixture (reserve some back for the top).

Pour over the fudge mixtures, I started by covering the bottom in most of the darker chocolate mixture and then swirling over the white and dark together over the top.

I topped mine with more of the crushed oreos and some chocolate chips.

Let set in the fridge for a few hours to set.

Slice up and serve!
